3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

·      Provide services (quiz results, memberships, access to migration data).

·      Process payments and manage subscriptions.

·      Provide customer support.

·      Send marketing emails, SMS, push notifications, and retargeting. By creating an account, you consent to receiving marketing communications (opt-out available).

·      Operate referral features, including linking shared results, rewarding referrals with access to additional features, and attributing new accounts created via referral links back to the inviting account.

·      Comply with legal obligations, including migration law record-keeping requirements.

·      With your consent (as set out in the Services & Fees Agreement), we may also use your first name, image, and positive outcomes (such as visa grants, skills assessment results, or other successful results) for testimonials, case studies, or marketing materials.

4. User Content & Data Licence

By uploading, submitting, or using Rocket Visa services, you grant Rocket Visa an unlimited, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, process, analyse, and adapt your User Content, usage data, referral activity, and derived data for:

1. Delivering and maintaining services (including automated/AI-assisted responses).

2. Improving services, including research, development, and training of AI or other tools.

Rocket Visa will not disclose or display any personal information in outputs or services once training is complete. Where possible, data will be de-identified, aggregated, or pseudonymised for training.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose personal information:

·      To registered migration agents, lawyers, employees, or contractors of Rocket Visa.

·      To third parties required to deliver services (e.g., Department of Home Affairs, skills assessing authorities, payment providers, hosting/analytics/AI service providers). Where AI services are used, these providers operate under their own terms of service. Rocket Visa takes reasonable steps to minimise disclosures, select reputable providers, and de-identify or pseudonymise information where practicable, but cannot control how external AI providers handle data once transmitted.

·      To third parties in connection with promotions or referral programs:

o  For non-migration referrals, Rocket Visa may receive a commission (amount not disclosed).

o  For migration-related referrals (e.g., health insurance, courses tied to visa eligibility), Rocket Visa will disclose the exact amount or percentage of commission, consistent with the Code of Conduct.

·      As required by law, to regulators, law enforcement, or government authorities.

·      To any entity to whom we may transfer all or part of our business.

Information may be transferred and stored outside Australia. By using our services, you consent to international data transfers.

·      By continuing to use our site, you consent to cookies under this Policy.

·      A cookie banner will notify users that continued use constitutes consent.

7. Data Retention

·      Client/member information is retained while an account is active, plus 7 years for compliance.

·      Information may be anonymised for research or statistical purposes beyond this period.

8. Storage & Security

·      Personal information is stored electronically on cloud servers operated by third-party providers.

·      Data may also be stored in secure electronic systems accessible only to authorised staff.

·      Rocket Visa takes reasonable steps, consistent with industry standards, to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

·      While we generally do not store hard copy records, if physical copies are created (e.g., for compliance), they are kept securely and destroyed when no longer needed.
